The Kindness of Strangers initially commissioned Appdrawn to come up with the User Interface (UI) and design language for the web app. They were so impressed with the design, knowledge and delivery, that they then asked our team to create the software.

The software acts as a digital fundraising assistant, recommending tailored 'pathways' and strategic plans depending on the needs of the user. Users then get step by step guidance on actioning these.

There are customisable email and social media marketing tools, facilitating effective, high‑impact campaigns for little effort, allowing for greater reach and visibility. Secure, GDPR‑compliant features help charities keep supporters' data in a secure database. The process of searching and applying for grants has been simplified with an integrated grants database; personalised recommendations are provided on who or what to apply for. Before now, small charities have not had low‑cost tools to make a direct gift aid claim across all types of giving unlike larger charities. Automated gift aid claims have now been made possible with our software's direct integration with HMRC via API. The automation of this feature and many more such as social media scheduling, minimises the amount of manual data input and management.

The platform is already helping more charities to raise funds and awareness. TKOS now stands apart in the market, with its ground‑breaking 'step‑by‑step guidance' approach, bringing together all the tools 'under one roof' in a single software platform.
