Case Study: Imagine Property Group
A ground‑breaking customer portal allowing developers access to the land portfolio to register interest and employees to manage customer data effectively.
Imagine Property Group have been pushing the boundaries in the local market since they launched in 2006. Ever keen to break new ground, Imagine opened their own land sales department to complement their growing sales business. This new division grew rapidly and became a major force in regional land sales. The team at Imagine looked to scale with that growth but realised there were very few solutions in the industry that really fitted the 'land sales management' remit.
Other major national land sales agents had very limited facilities themselves. Imagine could see there was a clear way they could differentiate themselves. They needed a portal that allowed property developers to access specific parts of the land portfolio, in order to register their interest. The platform needed to have a really simple user journey and demonstrate a polished, 'first class' user experience (UX).
Appdrawn first collaborated with Imagine to develop the right aesthetic and work out the optimal User Interface (UI). It was clear the solution would need to have real presences on desktop/laptop devices whilst still working well on mobile devices.
Next, Appdrawn worked to build out the custom technology that would go into this new platform. This new software development would result in an industry 'first' in terms of the tools to manage 'land plots' but also the internal systems which would enable the growing Land and New Homes team at Imagine to administer the sales process from end‑to‑end. This incorporated bespoke CRM software development and the development of a customer portal with user registration/sign‑in. The bespoke customer portal incorporated secure file management and access control.
The solution was ground‑breaking in the marketplace and won praise from customers and competition, alike for its accessibility, performance, and design.
